‘National Dog Show’ 2021: TV channel, time, how to watch online without cable

 More than 200 breeds and varieties sanctioned by the American Kennel Club will compete for the Best in Show title during the 2021 “National Dog Show,” which is coming up on Thursday, Nov. 25. Once again, John O’Hurley and David Frei will host the show, broadcast on Thanksgiving Day. NBC Sports correspondent Mary Carillo is also back this year.

O’Hurley is also known as an actor, whose roles include J. Peterman on “Seinfeld,” and a winning stint on “Dancing With the Stars.” Frei, who was the former host of the Westminster Kennel Club Dog Show for 27 years, grew up in Eugene, and spends a lot of time in Cannon Beach, Oregon.

The 2021 lineup of dogs includes the Biewer Terrier, a new American Kennel Club-sanctioned breed. Also. new this year is a requirement that will allow only fully-vaccinated spectators. In 2020, the competition was held without spectators, and only 600 dogs competed. This year, more than 2,000 dogs will compete.
